Books in the Book of Mormon Songs

Being able to navigate the Book of Mormon is useful. Knowing the names of the 15 books and where they can be found helps the Book of Mormon student.

Putting words to music makes it easier to remember the words. You can use a familiar tune or make up a tune. Here are a couple tunes we came up with.

I had my children watch the video and see if they could keep up with the speed of the song. If you can sing the song at full speed, you've got it!

Creating a Book of Mormon Scrapbook

Reading the scriptures is an adventurous journey. We learn every time we apply ourselves to understanding. There are many layers of depth, understanding, and growth for every student of truth.

The Prophet Joseph Smith said: “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.”

Having our children come to know, love, and apply the teachings of this book will prove a great blessing in their lives.

We are helping our children create a Book of Mormon scrapbook where they can keep a record of all their adventures as they come to know and love this book.

We started our adventure by creating a cover for the scrapbook. We chose to do ripped paper art. There are many creative, artistic, things you can do to create a cover for your Book of Mormon scrapbook.

The children had a wonderful time and created multiple pictures. I asked them if they knew why they were having so much fun. They weren't sure. I explained that Jesus is a creator, and we are created in His image. He loves creating because it's fun. We are like Him, and we also love to create.

We put their picture inside the front cover a 3-ring binder.

We are ready to start putting our Book of  Mormon projects in our binder.
